WHAT I LEARNED AT CHURCH RECENTLY

Hello friends for those I worship with I hope we enjoyed God's Word and have been energized anew to arise and fufill the great destiny God has purposed for our lives.
For those who missed and also those part of the online audience note that we looked at 1Samuel Ch 1-2. Hannah a barren Woman married to Elkanah, was teased year in year out by Penninah that she was childless. She cried unto God and God heard her cry which was with a pledge that the child born would be dedicated to the Lord.
Once God saw her through to her first child she rejoiced and fufilled her vow to dedicate her new son Samuel to the Lord. She was barren remember but now God opens her womb and she bears seven children (1Sam 2:5).
   Lessons to take home:
1) Hannah was destined for greatness, though the situation seemed hopeless at first. Your life situation right now may be fruitless like Hannah's fruitless womb. Be of good cheer for at God's appointed time your season to have above and beyond what you may ask or think will one day come (Eph 3:20). Trust God & be prayerful like Hannah, God has the final say; don't mind what the Penninahs of this life may utter to tease you & your God. You are destined for Greatness as far as God is concerned.
Let what God says about you define you and not your present circumstances. Just in case you forgot God says you're "more than a conqueror" Romans 8:37, God says you "can do all things through Christ your strength" Phil 4:13, the God says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivers him out of them all". Keep standing on the promises of God (518 SDAH) for you are destined for greatness by the Almighty. Amen

2)Greatness is seen through the lenses of God and not man ( think of Job) Heaven recognized his faithfulness. Don't base your greatness on what man says but what God says.

3)Great people keep their vows and pledges, Hannah as per promise rendered her son to the temple after he was weaned. Be faithful and honest too.

4)Greatness means you become a channel of blessing, it is a selfless greatness as compared to self centered greatness (Me, Myself & I) Ascend in life to descend and lift someone up, that's true greatness.

Greatness all in all we learnt is found in the perimeters of God, without God you can accumulate all the wealth in the world but it will count for nothing but foolishness in God's sight. If you desire to fufill God's great destiny for your life connect yourself to him and become a channel of blessing to others that they too may recognize what's truly important; a relationship with the Maker and not the Materials of this world.

SDAH means - Seventh Day Adventist Hymnal. Hope you've been blessed, if so feel free to post a comment and you may ask me a question where you may need clarity. Blessed day & Happy reading.

LIVING LIFE HAPPY

If there is a goal common to all people it's the goal to lead a happy and meaningful life. How can this be achieved? especially with the never ending stream of lemons life can sometimes throw at us; can happiness be actualized or it's a fairy tale to be lived only in the land of imagination.

Life has often times been likened to a roller coaster having ups and downs, highs and lows. At which point do we generally perceive happiness? Obviously the high moments one would think; the long awaited graduation, getting married, landing the perfect job. Such times definitely put a smile on our faces and they should it would be weird to have anybody graduating with honors and appearing like they've been sentenced to life imprisonment, it would be strange to finally marry the man or woman of your dreams and feel extremely bored. When the good times come Live Life Happy put the best smile on your face, take selfies live each moment to the full yet being wise enough to evade destructive and addictive vices.

If however you're hooked like a fish that can't get away; don't lose hope and think you'll never change where there's a will there's a way; as long as you're willing to change there is hope for that change to come your way through supportive and non judgemental comrades, I am willing to be a friend of such a kind if you're willing to share. I have had my fair share of addictions and boy are they hard to break; I find some truth in the saying that bad habits die hard, even so it's doesn't mean they eventually won't die out, they surely can or at least gradually become more and more insignificant as hurdles in your life. Let's team up and determine to let nothing stand in the way between us and a truly fulfilling life.

Happy reading and welcome to my Live Life Happy Blog!
